Bringing People Together
ARTICLE: A World in London
June 2017, The Tabernacle, Notting Hill
On the 9th June Celebrate Life Events were delighted to host a small invitation-only event with guests and artists from many different cultural groups - A World in London! Peace Ambassador Prem Rawat’s message usually features at our events in film, but this time we were fortunate to have him in person. Pictures follow telling the story of the night (photos thanks to Nitesh Mistry and Mehau Kulyk).
The event took place in London’s historic Tabernacle Venue in Notting Hill, West London, a community arts centre, grade II listed building and iconic music venue since the 60s.
Guests taking their seats in the main space relaxed into the atmosphere with a quotes and images slideshow setting the tone for the night.
Pastor Lorraine Jones was beaming, she said: 'What struck me was the need of addressing humanity. Put away the politics, put away religion and let’s just deal with humanity.' You can see a video of the interviews further down this page.
